COUNTDOWN 2010
The task force cooperates with Countdown 2010, an international coalition hosted by IUCN's Regional Office for Europe that aims to halt the loss of biodiversity by the year 2010. For details, visit www.countdown2010.net. Countdown 2010 has a particular interest in engaging local authorities.
ICLEI BIODIVERSITY INITIATIVE
The task force cooperates with, and several of its members are on the steering committee of, the Local Action for Biodiversity (LAB) initiative of ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability, www.iclei.org.
